How I lead

I have fostered a collaborative and supportive work environment, providing my team with the resources and support they need to be successful. I have also set clear goals and expectations for team members, and have regularly communicated with them to stay informed on their progress and address any challenges they may be facing.

My leadership approach is focused on helping designers develop their skills and improve their work, ultimately leading to better user experiences for our users.

My key achievements:

• Led the design of the CommBank App Smart Savings feature - helping customers automatically save their spare cash, reaching over 2 million customers to grow our app engagement and NPS.

• Led the design of the Australian Red Cross Blood Donation App. Since launch, they've increased 3.5% to 15.7% of total appointments (peaked at 36% after the initial campaign), translating to a net reduction of 12% of all calls into call centre (increased cost savings).

• I've taught the fundamentals of user experience strategy and design to over 600 students, through RMITonline, to help them further their career in User Experience Design or transition into the field.

• Provided guidance to my direct reports and peers on design processes, craft, and tools to support their development and career progression.
